Incised into red polished granite stone set into south wall near entrance
TO THE GLORY OF GOD
AND IN MEMORY OF THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
IN THIS AREA DURING THE WORLD WAR 1939-1945.
THIS STONE WAS SET BY
THE GOVERNOR GENERAL OF AUSTRALIA.
HIS EXCELLENCY, FIELD MARSHAL SIR WILLIAM SLIM
ON 25TH JUNE 1958.
THE UNITED CHURCH IN NORTH AUSTRALIA.
