The memorial consists of  cement wall and iron railing surrounding a rose garden.  The wall has a wrought iron top symbolising barbed wire. There is a pine tree in the garden.

Lone Pine of Gallipoli planted
near the Australian War Memorial
Canberra in 1934.
It was presented to Glenorchy City
Council and planted by
Brigadier Alf Garland on
