The memorial is a red granite boulder on a polished red granite slab on a brick plinth. There are bronze plaques with the names of individual ex-servicemen of World War II who have since died set around the brick plinth.

Remembrance Park was dedicated in 1995 as part of the Australia Remembers 1945-1995 program.
