The memorial is an obelisk shape, made in five sections from charcoal grey speckled granite. It stands on a concrete plinth in the centre of a paved square. On each corner of the square is a single aluminium flagpole mounted on a decorative concrete base.
The stonemason was Quality Stone International of Townsville.
The cenotaph was dedicated on 16
April 2005 in time to commemorate the 90th Anniversary of the landing at
Gallipoli on 25 April 1915.
