THIS MEMORIAL IS DEDICATED TO ALL SERVICEMEN
AND WOMEN, WHO CONTRIBUTED IN ANY WAY,
AND TRAINED FOR JUNGLE WARFARE ON THE
ATHERTON TABLELAND, AND PARTICIPATED IN WAR
AGAINST JAPAN IN THE PACIFIC 1942 TO 1945

TO COMMEMORATE THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF
PEACE IN THE PACIFIC - 1945 TO 1995
