__________________________

The memorial is a brick wall. In the centre is another course of bricks with a Christian cross formed by dark red bricks.  There are two metal plaques on the wall and three flagpoles behind it.

The memorial replaced an earlier cenotaph, allowing accommodation for the increasing number of people attending commemorative services.  The Bayswater RSL received a grant of $4,000 under the Federal Government's commemorations program to assist with the cost of the larger memorial.
