Yenda World War II Memorial

Orientation: 15 km NE of Griffith
Location: Yenda Memorial Park, North Street
Position: 34 14 S    146 11 E

The memorial is a white concrete obelisk on a three-stepped concrete base. A diamond shaped path surrounds the memorial with triangular gardens and flag poles at opposite ends. Two sides of the gardens are bounded with a steel post and chain fence.

The memorial was unveiled on 25 April 1948 by Allan Harris.
