The first sod for construction of the hall was turned on 17
October 2001 with the first function, the Year 6 farewell dinner/dance, being
held on 18 December 2002. It was officially opened on 4 November 2004 by The
Honourable Matthew Morris MLA, local member for the State seat of Charlestown.
Containing a stage, tiered seating, toilet facilities and a servery it was
partly funded by $110,00 resulting from the sale of Kahibah Memorial Hall. The
State Government contributed a further $250,000 to the project.

Morning tea
The hall houses the Kahibah Roll of Honor (WWI) and the Kahibah Roll of Honour 1939 - 1945 which were relocated from the Kahibah Memorial Hall, demolished in 1996.
