The memorial is a white-painted concrete pillar on a one-stepped base. Two metal stirrups, used to support wreaths, are set into the base on the north side. A steel pipe and wire mesh fence borders the memorial on three sides. There is a metal flag pole on the north east side.

Note on Percy William Geraty: He was killed in France on 23 December 1916. A memorial service was held for him at Bimbi on Sunday 11 February 19171
He is also named on the Bimbi War Memorial
