__________________________
The marble tablet is thought to have come from a church at
Canbelego, a former mining centre about 50 kilometres east of Cobar. It
records names from World War I.
In
November 2000 the tablet was in a storeroom in the Outback Heritage Centre, Cobar's
local museum, but it is intended to eventually place it on display.
