Locations
, descriptions and images of war memorials in the states and territories of Australia

Memorials include monuments, honour rolls, buildings and a variety of utilitarian facilities all erected in honour and remembrance of those who served their country in war.

The site is in two parts - an index and detailed descriptions. The index has basic information such as location, type, number of names and what the memorial commemorates.  Where available a photo is included. The detailed descriptions include all of the above plus details of the names and inscriptions.  The descriptions take time to complete and lag behind the entries in the index.

Users should note the listings are by no means complete, particularly for some states and should not be seen as exhaustive in any area. Work is proceeding

It is requested that no further contributions be made at this time.  This may change in the future.
